A three-part structural field moving from opening, through compression, into resolution.

Structural Fields Triptych II brings three related states into a single extended composition. Across the set, translucent teal, slate, ice-blue and black planes shift in density and position, while pale apertures and dark vertical masses create a sequence of changing pressure.

The left panel establishes the field through a broad opening and a restrained dark structure. The centre panel concentrates the geometry, drawing multiple planes into a narrower internal passage where the strongest compression occurs. The right panel carries that pressure forward and resolves it into a denser, more enclosed condition.

Each panel remains complete in itself, but the triptych is designed to be read across the gaps. Repeated verticals, angled planes and partial boundaries migrate from one image to the next, creating continuity without repetition. The eye moves through changing states of openness, obstruction and release.

The restrained palette allows small shifts in opacity to carry significant weight. Darker regions pull the field inward, while pale translucent planes hold space open and prevent the composition from becoming fixed.

Seen together, the three works form a larger state-space: one structure expressed through successive conditions, each altering the meaning of the others.

The triptych reaches coherence not through symmetry, but through relation.
