Tensile Form I brings charcoal, blue-grey, warm bone and muted gold into a layered system of tension. Broad curved planes stretch between several points of resistance, while darker surfaces carry weight across the field.

The pale central membrane is drawn through the surrounding structure, narrowing where competing forces meet and widening as the load is redistributed. Fine linear traces remain visible across the surface, recording earlier positions and latent paths within the form.

The work reaches coherence through sustained pull. Its shape does not appear fixed or imposed, but produced by the forces holding it in place.
