Settled Field IV is organised around a dense teal structure set against a broad cyan field, with magenta passing through the composition as a narrow line of interruption.

The larger regions do not resolve into symmetry. Their boundaries press, overlap and shift in response to neighbouring areas, while smaller changes in colour and density redistribute weight across the field.

A brief concentration of light near the upper centre marks a local transition, where several regions meet without collapsing into a single focal point. The surrounding planes continue beyond it, keeping the composition distributed.

The work becomes complete when the field can hold its differences without requiring another structural shift.
