A field compressed into a narrow interval.

Structural Tension II brings a small number of broad regions into close relation. Dark, pale and translucent fields curve toward a shared constriction, each changing width and direction as neighbouring pressures alter the available space.

The tension is carried through deformation. A dense black region narrows as it moves across the field, while a lighter grey plane crosses its trajectory and introduces a second line of strain. Neither dominates independently. Their geometry depends on the forces surrounding them.

The pale regions remain active parts of the structure. They open space, redirect movement and increase the pressure concentrated at the central passage.

The work becomes complete when the field can sustain this compression without either closing the interval or releasing the forces that created it.
